ARIZONA KICKBALL TOURNAMENT ~ FEBRUARY 26TH

Got some questions answered last night. This tourney will be a two bounce tourney. Registration closes Feb 18th. Teams have to be paid by then. Rosters don't need to be completed until game day.
After party is still up in the air. I suggested somewhere close to Mill, so a Mill Ave Bar crawl can happen later that evening.

With Registration Closing on the 18th, time to start recruiting teams hardcore and get some of these AZ WAKA teams to sign up. Roughly $35 per person is a pretty good deal for 4 games of kickball(minimum) and I am guessing some free beer during the after party!

I messaged a player from both Sir Kix-A-Lot and Straight To The Bank. Got no reply from either of them. Looks like they're all talk and not willing to back up their claims.

My cup is half full, Hopefully they are just trying to get players to commit!

Since it is preseason I don't people have the gumption to get it together having not played since October.

I honestly wish I could answer that. Lots of teams said they wanted a tourney and now there is one, not many are stepping up.

Truthfully, if we can get 8, I would be a happy camper. They are going through a learning curve on their first tourney. Plus I think the date could have been chosen a little better.

i agree on the date...having it so close to the sofla tournament hurts. Some time in the end of march would have been great!

It's a learning experience. However, most of the players from AZ going to SoFL will be participating in the NAKAD tourney. Therefore it didn't have an effect on the local teams, just out of state teams.

We already quallified for Vegas in 2011. Not sure if I can justify paying $70 bucks for only 8 games against squads with limited ability. Most of the talent are in the NAKAD league.

Valley is on Thursday and ended last week. Scorch is on Tuesday, and I spoke with a couple people about it last night
