My bad Shane, I didn't read your preamble. Believe me, I want to travel. Hopefully SAYGASM will qualify and will travel.

Even if you don't qualify for Vegas, or can't get a team to travel that far, there are two tournaments within a 3hr drive that should be no problem for SAYGasm to make.

Although, a couple of the SAY part may have acquired a taste for traveling with M2S...

Naaaaaaa, we'll take Scoregasm's history..........5 division championships, 2 regional championships and a Founder's Cup semi-final loss 2 to 1.

But that's all history now. There are some amazing teams out there from other states that have been dominating WAKA.

Dupont doesn't mean anything. Not a competitive division. You don't here me bragging about HTKC's champioship (yes that's 1 Donnie). Basically in Competitive Kickball you have 1 in the last few years and it's because of Matt Wilner. Even he says he pitched the game of his life because he knew that was the only way not to lose to QP Live.

We had OIP beat, Rivkin beat us in the bottom of the 5th by taking advantage of the unexperienced base ref. I wasn't there to argue. Against SAYD, we had 8 players. Only two of us were real Scoregasm players. Even they said the game wasn't fair. In the playoffs, yes we lost to Below Me 1 to 0 and left the bases loaded 3 times because our HR kickers weren't there.

I'm sure everyone is sick of reading about this. We all know Matt is one of the best pitchers in WAKA. I will strike you out or make you foul out when we play!

I would like to say that SAYG/SAYD would travel again (we did hit the K365 Open and got knocked out by the Arkansans in single elim), but there is some cross-over with other teams that might preclude it. The influx of the Scoregasm crew does make it more compelling, but a play on the immortal JM: TRAVELLING TOURNAMENTS? TRAVELLING TOURNAMENTS??? WE'RE JUST TRYING TO FIELD A TEAM ON THURSDAY!!! TRAVELLING TOURNAMENTS???

The rest of Memorial will be a fun ride. It is a shame that the game on Thursday of OIP v. SAYG will not live up to its potential if played at all. I feel responsible for stacking the team with Jews. Apparently this time I should not have chose so many of the Chosen People...

I thought you'd like that Mauler, you would also love our on field persona... heavy laughing after every out/run scored/big play, lots of fake money thrown around and very cocky one liners yelled. At the bar well... lets just say we ran the place but some how the Gotham Goliaths won the best team at the bar award. Not quite sure how that happend since only one of them MOed all season and it was with our player, we out numbered them at the bar late night, beat them in every bar game, invented the "Fan Game" and definately performed more outragious stunts. Maybe because 3 of them were on the board this season and they always brag about their "back to back to back awards for biggest partiers"... HYYYYPE!

When I was captain of nWo I tried to do a few things like that. Half my team bought nWo shirts and wore bandanas. Halfway thru the 1st season people started to wear their WAKA shirts. We'd yell "too sweet". 3 of us had championship belts after the 3rd week I was the only one who brought mine to the bar. I applaud your efforts!

Where is Matt who made the spectacular catch against OIP last fall to give us a 1-0 victory.

Where is Roger?
Where is Addington?
Where is Rob?
Hell, I'll even throw in Tony Divino into the mix. He was an instrumental part in some games.
Not to mention Kate McMahon, Kristin, Laura, Sweeney, Amy and a bunch of other girls from the old guard.

Mauler, you may be M2S now, but DO NOT equate this team as the same team that went to Vegas or played in past championship seasons in Rock Creek/Royal.

I'm sure Addington and Tim will back me up on this one.

I think it's all kind of silly to talk about any team taking credit for a previous incarnation of that same team. This is kickball. Rosters juggle around every season. Very few teams keep the exact same team as a previous team. Very few teams even retain half the team they were before. Usually there is a core that stays together, sometimes maybe only 4 or 5 people, and the rest is added around them. Yes, this M2S team can claim whatever past M2S team has done as part of their "history." It doesn't matter that there was a big free agent spending spree, and parts of QP Live, nWo, Hung, etc. are now on the team. Scoregasm can keep their "history," too, even though they don't have Wilner and Cisco anymore. Rosters change, but the "team" goes on.
